In another year that has been very challenging for rescue groups and animal shelters across the country, the PIA Companion Animal Rescue Awards 2021 Winners have been announced.
These awards celebrate and recognise achievements in rescue, sheltering, rehabilitation and re-homing of companion animals Australia-wide and were founded by Cathy Beer from Pets4Life.
As the proud Ambassador of these Awards, I would like to congratulate not only the winners, but everyone who took the time to enter the awards and, of course, everyone who works and volunteers in the world of pet-rescue. Of course, for anyone who fosters or has adopted a rescue dog, these awards are for you too. We need more of us to help provide a loving home to all of those pets in need!
Of course there can only be one winner (well, twelve across all the categories), so a big congratulations to the Rescue Awards 2021 Winners below.
