Quest Apartment Hotels is providing pet friendly stays for our four-legged friends in select rooms at thirty properties nation-wide.
In locations across Sydney, Melbourne, Gold Coast, Perth and more, Quest is allowing pet friendly stays for those traveling for business or leisure. The initiative is in response to the COVID surge in pet ownership and over a million dogs becoming part of Australian households since 2019 alone.
Supporting guest wellness and demand
Following research undertaken by Animal Medicines Australia that found 70% of respondents said that being a pet owner improved their lives during the COVID-19 era, the new offering aligns with Quest’s emphasis on guest wellness.
Quest’s Chief Marketing Officer, Jeff Baars, says the company has seen search demand for pet friendly accommodation increase alongside the adoption rate, for both short and extended stays. This has prompted the “Paw-fect Travelers” offering at 30 locations nationally. Additional hotels will offer pet friendly stays over the coming months.
“The primary reason people own a pet is companionship, and we know that travel can sometimes be a little lonely, particularly for corporates who spend a lot of time on the road. We hope the offering will make our guests feel even more comfortable and connected when they’re staying with us”, said Baars.
