Howl-o-Ween 2022 Social Media Competition Terms & Conditions

1. The Pooches at Play Halloween 2022 competition is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged, based upon creative merit. All entries must be an independent creation by the entrant and free of any claims that they infringe third party rights.
2. The Promoter of this competition is Pooches at Play Pty Ltd (registered business address: PO Box 7338 Brighton VIC 3186; ABN 33 149 753 551.
3. The Halloween 2022 competition starts 5pm Sunday 30 October 2022 and ends 11:59pm Monday 31 October. Winners will be announced Tuesday evening 1 November 2022.
4. Entries will be judged by a representative of Pooches at Play at its registered business address and announced on Tuesday 1 November 2022 on the Pooches at Play Instagram and Facebook pages by a representative of the Promoter located at its registered business address and the winners will be notified directly by the email provided in their entry.
5. Entry is via the Pooches at Play Facebook or Instagram pages to be eligible to win.
6. Entrants must be 13+years of age and must be residents of Australia. Guardian consent will be required before prizes are distributed to entrants under the age of 18 years.
7. To enter :
   1. Instagram entrants must post a fun and safe photo of their dog celebrating Halloween on their own Instagram page, LIKE and TAG @poochesatplay and use #PoochesHalloween on Instagram.
   2. Facebook entrants must LIKE @PoochesatPlay on Facebook and post a fun and safe photo of their dog celebrating Halloween in the comments section of the post on our Facebook page.
8. Winners will be decided at the judge’s discretion and based on creative merit.
9. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity and address) and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, or who submits and entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry, or who submits an entry that the Promoter, in its sole discretion, deems to be offensive including but not limited to profanity, animal cruelty, potentially insulting, scandalous, inflammatory or defamatory images or language, or otherwise not in keeping with the spirit of the competition.
10. The judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
11. Directors, employees of the competition Promoter and Sponsor and their immediate family, and agencies and other Sponsors associated with this promotion are not eligible to enter.
12. All entries become and remain the property of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion and the Promoter may use the entrants name and photographs for any commercial purpose, including future promotional marketing and publicity purposes.
13. The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw or amend the competition as necessary due to circumstances outside its control.
14. Prizes for each Instagram and Facebook competition include:  
    1. First Prize prize pack of 1 x Pooches at Play Boredom Buster Giftbox with 1 x copy of Eat, Play, Love (your dog) and 1 x World of Dogs valued at a maximum of $88.50 RRP including postage.
    2.  1 x  consolation prize of a Lara Shannon Book Bundle including 1 x Eat, Play, Love (your dog) and 1 x World of Dogs + 1 x Vitapet Milky Sticks valued at $58.30 (including postage)
15. The Promoter or Sponsor shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, in connection with the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by laws.
16. By entering the competition, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these rules.
17. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not accept the prize within 90 days of the prize winner being announced and contacted by the Promoter the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize.
18. The personal information required by the Promoter for the purpose of contacting each winner is protected by the Privacy Act 1988. The Promoter will not disclose this information to other parties in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988, other than to notify prize Sponsors and suppliers that are required to directly contact and liaise with prize winners in relation to the redemption of their prize.
19. Entrants accept that by entering the competition their name and entry photo will be used for promotional purposes.
20. The winner will be tagged on the Promoter’s Instagram and Facebook announcement posts (where applicable) and sent a direct message to their account requesting their full name, email address, phone number and postal address.
21. The winner has 30 days to respond with their contact and any other relevant details required by the Promoter to supply their prize. If the Promoter is unable to contact the winner within 30 days of the announcement and the Promoter has made every effort to contact them with the information provided by the entrant then the promotion has the right to withhold the Daily Prize and/or award the Major Prize to another valid entrant.
22. The Overall Winner will be announced on the Pooches at Play social media pages.

This competition is no way sponsored, administered, or associated with Instagram, Inc. or Facebook. By entering, entrants confirm they are 13+ years of age, release Instagram  and Facebook of responsibility, and agree to Instagram and Facebook’s term of use.
