The Dog Down Under

The Dog Down Under series is a heartfelt celebration of the dogs who mean the world to us, as companions, workers, heroes, and legends who enrich our lives in ways big and small.

From incredible sporting achievements and remarkable talents, to acts of bravery, service, and loyalty, the campaign invited Australians to share the stories of dogs that inspire, protect, and support their people and communities. It also honoured our oldest canine friends, whose long lives are a testament to the deep bond between dogs and humans.

These powerful and uplifting stories came together in a five-part television series hosted by Lara Shannon, airing nationally on Channel 10 from 7 September 2024. The series captures the joy, resilience, and unconditional love at the heart of every finalist and winning dog’s journey.
